💡 Anyone is welcome to apply for a grant, as we offer multiple tracks to accommodate teams interested in adding to the Pastel Network ecosystem. This grants program will be divided into two main sections to promote activity from both infrastructure providers and ecosystem projects. Ideally, by combining these two elements, this incentive program aims to boost both decentralization and network activity.

An ideal candidate takes the following into account:
- (Semi) Open Source: Part of the implementation must be open source and add to the Pastel code-base. Not necessarily the case for the whole project, as we want to promote value-seeking solutions.
- Applications: Useful product that adds new features for the Pastel ecosystem and community. Clear value prop that brings more than a clone/parallel deployment from another ecosystem.
- Infrastructure: A tool that betters Pastel’s infrastructure from block explorers and wallets, to developer tooling and SDKs.
- Integrations: Uses Pastel APIs in their application, thus contributing to the network transactions. Ideal for the ecosystem grant program.
- Products not Campaigns: This grant program aims to build out a connected ecosystem of Pastel related products. While the team will directly support and work with grant recipients on both a technical and BD/Marketing level, the grants themselves should be focused on brining new functionality to the wider community.
- Suggested Solutions:
- Applications: NFT Marketplace, Gaming NFTs, NFT Aggregator, Web3 Social, Liquid Staking, Fractionalized NFTs, In-Game Asset Verification
- Infrastructure: SDKs and Developer Tooling, NFT Block Explorers, Pastel NFT Wallet Integrations
Grant Process
- Phase 1: Application
- Phase 2: Application Review
- Phase 3: Delivery and Payment
- Phase 4: Addendums or Changes
Staking and Infrastructure
Staking Grant Program
- The program seeks to further decentralize the Pastel Network by broadening SuperNode participation and staking rates across diverse third-party staking providers. The intention is to enhance the resilience, efficiency, and reliability of the network while making its benefits more widely accessible to the Web3 community. By granting providers the requisite amount of PSL for self-staking (5M PSL per SuperNode), the program aims to solidify the network's architecture.
- Ideal for individuals or organizations interested in operating Pastel SuperNodes.
