Your role as a validator

Operating a validator means maintaining reliable infrastructure and taking an active role in the network.

Core responsibilities include:

• Keeping your node synchronized and available.
• Protecting validator signing keys.
• Monitoring node health and signing performance.
• Preparing for network upgrades.
• Participating in governance.
• Maintaining clear communication with delegators.

Eligible active validators earn staking rewards and commission according to network rules and their configured commission rate.
